"The Jorum team have been busy creating and testing the new Jorum OER Deposit Tool, for the safe storage of Open Educational Resources.
‘Early bird’ depositors will be able to upload learning and teaching resources for safe keeping prior to the launch of the JorumOpen service. Once launched, all resources received will automatically be available for open access under Creative Commons licences.
Full details, demonstrations and guides on how to deposit materials will be posted to the Jorum website."

It occurs that we could do something similar at Leeds Met as a way of encouraging deposit. I'm just playing with a desktop tool so that users can drag and drop resources on their desktop directly into intraLibrary - it should also be possible to configure the tool to deposit into multiple repositories (i.e. Leeds met and JORUM). Though not as convenient as a web-based interface, a desktop version could serve as a test-bed for simple deposit; it could be developed into a web-service at a later date.
(N.B. The JORUM deposit tool is surely based on SWORD and may be released as Open Source.)
